JTF2 was originally formed in 2005 by two good friends. Tired of how other leaders of clans/guilds were always bossing the people under them just for the sake of doing it, they decided to start their own. It was decided that, yes rules and leadership were key, teamwork was the main objective. Using special forces teams as the ideal guideline, everything about their structure was adapted. They started out on a PC game called Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy with the name NightStalkers. After playing with a fellow clan for a while, it was decided to merge the clans. The NightStalkers became the special forces of Dominion of Man. But with DoM's decline, NS forged on by themselves. It wasn't until the clan made the jump to PlayStation 2 and a game called Socom 3 that is started to become a serious gaming clan. After the jump that year, the name was changed to Joint Task Force Two [JTF2] after the original founding members home country's Special Forces. The clan became a serious competitor, going without a single loss during its entire two full years of active fighting on PS2 games. In 2008, the clan made its next logical move, jumping to the PlayStation 3. Once on the PS3, the members started to pile in, only improving in skill. The clan became much more organized and developed as a unit. It continued its unbeaten streak while actively fighting on Socom: Confrontation. JTF2 builds on it's past victories and learns from it's past mistakes. It's members are part of a unit striving for tactical perfection, while enjoying each others company and having fun. JTF2 has expanded outside of just military shooters, finding it's place on many other genres. Joint Task Force Two welcomes anyone into their group of friends that enjoy a common love: video games.
